Hey guys, i am wondering wether this is legal or not, i since gw2 is coming close, i am wanting to get gwamm or atleast 50/50, and all i need is my titles..
so the question is: would it be legal to either pay some1 to go on my acc and do everything, or just go afk, and make the other guy do the work?
if i pay for it, ofc

Real money trades are against tos ( http://guildwars.com/support/rmt/rmt-en.php ).

By giving someone else your account information you expose your account. If you will end up hacked it's your own fault.

Staying afk (except pvp) while another person in the party is doing all the job for you and paying him with ingame plat/items is not against tos.

If you want someone to help along in game for gold/items whilst you AFK then have a look in this section clicky but it's a definite no no on anything exchanging hands for RL money

No real money may be involved.

If you share your account with anyone, you're pretty much stripping yourself of any account-support related to theft, hacking etc, as you have knowingly let somebody else onto your account. So, if your 'service-man' takes your stuff, including the whole account, you're out of luck.
It's technically against the rules, too ('user will not share their account with anyone' stuff in the EULA), but it cannot be checked really, so consider it a gray area.

Paying someone to do stuff for you while you AFK is a widely known and used technique, known as 'services'. Just don't pay with $

Actually, I think you'd have to read the EULA to be sure, but it seems to me that selling in-game items for real world cash is not allowed, but I'm not sure if they mention paying someone else to play for you.

My question is - why bother? It seems like an expensive way to get a relatively meaningless title - it's especially meaningless if you pay someone else to do it. Are you thinking that people are going to say "Wow, that guy had GWAAM in GW1"? It's going to be more like "Ho hum, another guy with GWAAM, but what can you do in GW2?"

true, it wount happen in 1/5000 times, but still, its against the eula.

It's not worth it (risking ban or getting your account info compromised). Sure if you know someone personally (RL friend for example) that you are willing to let do this then sure, but a stranger? That's kinda like giving a stranger your car and drivers license if he's willing to go run your chores for you.

Not really. Suspected, but not proven, break of EULA in a way like this won't lead to terminating one's account, as, well, it cannot be proven. I could have travelled to Japan and back, or use a proxy to connect for a while, thus making my IP different. There's no way of telling whether an account was shared or not in this game, unless there's a hard proof like long-going chat records mentioning sharing, or the primary owner's own confession.
That said, suspecting a violation of EULA in that manner might - and, most likely, will - lead to revoking all support for the shared account, unless the owner can prove it wasn't shared (thus haven't broken EULA). While this way it might be possible, doing so would be a pain in the ass, not really worth the hassle unless one's really been tragically hacked.

Just start working on it yourself. Guild Wars' servers will still be open once the sequel gets released so what's the rush? Titles generally are not hard, just tedious.
Getting over 30 in your HoM rewards only yields titles so unless you really, really want those titles, I don't see a point in paying someone in doing so. Also someone else got you those titles - maybe you don't care for the sense of accomplishment but I would.

1st off, it's NOT legal. You risk a ban. As others mentioned if you pay with plat, you can consider it a gray area but if you pay with real money it's not in the gray area anymore.

2nd Getting GWAMM and 50/50 it's both a lot of work and two different things.

GWAMM refers to a title. If you wish to achieve GWAMM you can do it yourself in maybe two months if you play a decent amount of time (2-3 hours per day) AND have some helpful items (such as : summoning stones, consets, buffing sweets, etc.). There are some tips for the choices you can make on wiki http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Kind_of_a_Big_Deal although you will have to pay a bit for the consumable titles....[personnaly I farm GotH(Gifts of the Huntsman) in pre-Searing, Gifs of the Traveler for consumables points, although it might take some time]

50/50 okay...I honestly don't know why you would want such a thing...did you at least complete 30/50...30/50 is doable in a few months as a new player, providing that you play enough and you get accustomed fast with the game itself. 50/50 is quite an ambitious project as you need a ridiculous amount of money to get it, not to mention that you won't get anything amazing for it....just some titles that don't even give boosts. They are just for fashion, nothing more.

Just get in a good guild for 50/50 help. Tbh the benefits of having 50/50 will be outweighed by the amount of people that have it. Imho

Besides, Anet seem to be making GWAMM so easy to get nowadays, you practically get it by creating an account

Started playing 4 months and some 20 days ago. Old account, had only factions on it, and a total of 5 pets from B-day prezzies and about 20 plat total.Fresh start with an Ele. Got 38/50 now, enough cash to get it to 40+ if i wildly start spending. In less then a months time ill get to 50/50, and only cuz i have stuff to do for the HONOR monument. Its doable, and quite easy IF U PREPARE. And if u count i did the LDoA ( took me 8-9 days ) and had a three week pause. Fairly easy, and relatively quick.

Best advice I can give is Wiki the hell out of anything before u actually do it.
Plan ahead, will save u countless hours and a lof of money. The community is also making it easy by providing excellent services in just about any area of the game.

Hell u can just make a fortune by staying in Kamadan by buying low, selling high. (hate selling and I myself have sold stuff that are way more expensive then i sold em for)
